Lydia Gross Kamerlink is a founding partner of Kamerlink, Stark, Powers & McNicholas, LLC. As one of Illinois’ most respected matrimonial law and trial practitioners, with over thirty years of experience, Ms. Kamerlink advises clients in all areas of family and matrimonial law, specializing in matters of extreme financial complexity, often involving family businesses, estate plans and asset valuations. She has successfully represented individuals involving multimillion dollar marital estates, contested custody matters, numerous multi-faceted issues, including but not limited to: marital dissolution; asset identification and allocation; valuation and disposition of substantial business interests, child support and maintenance issues, prenuptial and postnuptial agreement,; post-decree enforcement litigation; invalidity of marriage; legal separation; adoption and orders of protection. Lydia’s strong client advocacy and steadfast dedication to each of her clients permeates all aspects of her domestic relations practice. She is a court-appointed Child Representative and Guardian ad Litem, receiving appointments from judges to represent the best interests of minor children in contested matters. Additionally, Lydia is a highly qualified mediator, trained and certified through the DePaul University Center for Dispute Resolution.

Lydia has served as guest speaker at a variety of Family Law conferences and Continuing Legal Education seminars, most recently including the American Bar Association Family Law Spring 2012 Conference (topic: “Divorce Debts and Bankruptcy”) and the Divorce Illinois Seminar in February 2012 (topic: “Client Management”).

Lydia received her Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in 1980, graduating with honors.
