The Firm

In 1998, Lydia Kamerlink and Vincent Stark co-founded a law firm committed to providing clients with the best possible representation during a difficult, life-changing time. Ms. Kamerlink and Mr. Stark brought to reality their vision of offering a personal approach to clients’ individual and evolving needs, realizing that the clients’ trust, confidence and understanding of the issues and disputes are the most important pieces of successful representation in dissolution cases.

For nearly 20 years, through strategic growth and management, Kamerlink, Stark, Powers & McNicholas, LLC, has built a reputation as a firm of knowledgeable, sincere, and proficient attorneys. The firm successfully represents clients in all areas of matrimonial law: divorce, custody, visitation, child support, maintenance, paternity, domestic violence, adoption, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. The founding partners’ commitment to personalized service to clients has enabled the firm to grow from a small firm to one of the premiere boutique matrimonial law firms in Illinois. We now operate out of three convenient locations (downtown Chicago, Deerfield and Wheaton) and represent clients throughout the State of Illinois.

We ensure our clients feel welcome, respected and comfortable during one of the most trying times in their lives. The personalized service of Kamerlink, Stark, Powers & McNicholas, LLC, sets us apart from our competitors because our clients are not “just a number.” At Kamerlink, Stark, Powers & McNicholas, LLC, clients are represented by a highly experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled team of attorneys who not only possess legal and financial expertise, but also provide a level of personal service and understanding not found at other firms.
